BIO
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. I have always had an interest in the field of arts and sciences having been raised by a former architect and an environmental scientist. Choosing to study architecture was an easy decision for me because it is what I have always wanted to do. The idea of creating a structure which may far outlast my lifetime and potentially inspire future designers within the field is exactly the type of legacy I want to leave behind.

PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
I strongly believe in the concept of being better than you were yesterday. This philosophy has always kept me moving and progressing forward while providing insight on how to improve myself both as a human and as a designer.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Design has provided a way for me to solve problems from alternative perspectives and create answers to problems I wouldn’t have been able to solve by using mathematics. My design interests lie within creating ecological systems of architecture which address issues of sustainability, adaptive reuse, and change the way people interact with built environments.
